Union Square + Prospect Hill + Ward 2

Union Square is a neighborhood centered on Union Square itself, which is located at the intersection of Washington Street, Webster Avenue, and Somerville Avenue. Prospect Hill is a neighborhood located above Union Square and known for the panoramic views of Boston and Cambridge from Prospect Hill Park. The neighborhood is also home to several playgrounds, community gardens, and also has several local historic districts featuring well-crafted Victorian homes with columned porches, turrets, gingerbread ornamentation, and stained glass windows. Ward Two begins outside of Porter Square and is bordered on the South by Cambridge and on the north by the Spring Hill neighborhood. It extends all the way to Inman Square.
