Enjoy this video about the 5 things I like about Harvard Square in Cambridge.
West Cambridge neighborhood: Harvard Square
A great place to walk around and explore. Harvard Square is the heart of Cambridge, home to Harvard University and many restaurants and retail establishments.
West Cambridge neighborhood: Huron Village
The Huron Village neighborhood includes the streets found either side of Huron Avenue as it winds it way from Concord Avenue out to Fresh Pond Parkway in West Cambridge. Regulars can sign for shopping orders at Fresh Pond Market. And it does not get much better than having The Fishmonger next to Hallie's Flower Garden next to Formaggio's.
West Cambridge neighborhood: Observatory Hill
The Observatory Hill neighborhood includes the residential streets located off of Concord Avenue between the Harvard Observatory (on Madison Street) and Walden Street. There are a number of small shops and services in this neighborhood, mainly found on Concord Avenue.
West Cambridge neighborhood: Larchwood
Located on the far side of Fresh Pond Parkway, the Larchwood neighborhood is a smaller residential neighborhood of single family homes defined by several winding streets. The Larchwood neighborhood feels like a hidden enclave.
West Cambridge neighborhood: Coolidge Hill
Located off Coolidge Avenue and near Buckingham, Browne and Nichols upper school campus and the Shady Hill School, the Coolidge Hill neighborhood contains a small number of single family homes on just a couple of winding roads, known respectively as Coolidge Hill Road and Coolidge Hill.
West Cambridge neighbor: Fresh Pond
West Cambridge borders Fresh Pond on its western boundary. Fresh Pond is a reservoir and park with a popular 2.25 mile path around Fresh Pond. Learn more about Fresh Pond at DiscoverFreshPond.com
