III. H Mart opens in Davis Square

On January 9, 2025, H Mart opened on Elm Street in Davis Square, Somerville. This Asian supermarket replaces bFresh, which closed in October 2023. H Mart brings a diverse range of specialty Asian products, making it more than just a typical grocery store. The medium-sized store offers 8,000 to 10,000 items, including a robust seafood department, ready-made food, and specialty Asian products. This is the fifth H Mart location in Greater Boston, further establishing the Korean grocery chain's presence in the area. There is also an H Mart in Central Square in Cambridge.
