On Harvard Square’s historic Brattle Street in Cambridge, you will find a decadent café - L.A. Burdick Handmade Chocolates. Upon opening the café door, you will be swept away with the beautifully crafted bonbons, homemade cakes, and specialty beverages.

Larry Burdick used his love for chocolate and influences from his time in Switzerland & Paris to start L.A. Burdick in 1987 in New York City. Co-founded with his wife Paula Burdick, the cafes are now in Boston, Cambridge, Chicago, New York City, and the flagship store/cafe in Walpole, NH.

Sinnce its inception, L.A. Burdick’s chocolate creations have gained national attention and awards. While many of their novelties have received praise, the Burdick name is most famously known for their signature chocolate mice and hot chocolate.

The café experience is not to be missed. That said, if you aren’t loca,l you can shop BurdickChocolate.com which ships nationally and internationally.
