Each year in September after Labor Day, market activity increases, as many more people are back from summer holidays and back for the school year. Memories of the heated market during the pandemic have not entirely faded away in the minds of many, so a steady market such as we are experiencing this year can still seem mellow by comparison.
The street I live on in Cambridge has been under construction for over three months, with water main work and road repaving and sidewalk replacement. Having a front row seat on all this work has made me appreciate how much goes into maintenance of city infrastructure.
